Founder and President
Chris Carver is licensed to pilot most things that fly, float, sink and travel on wheels. For over 30 years he has followed his passion for applying technology to transportation, from telematics to in-flight communications to vehicle dynamics. He launched ATG Risk Solutions to bring the benefits of telematics data to the commercial auto insurance marketplace to create a better way to rate risk using connected-vehicle data.
Founder and Operations Lead
Mary Mullaney has served as the operations manager and comptroller for several companies, with experience in finance, tax and HR matters. Mary is an experienced project manager of multi-million dollar construction projects for hospitals and government institutions. working in all phases of project planning, budgeting, negotiation, and permitting. Experienced sailor that she is, Mary keeps the ATG Risk Solutions vessel on a steady course. Mary earned a Bachelor of Engineering from National University of Ireland, Galway.
Vice President of Marketing
Jim White leads ATG Risk Solutions’ marketing and channel communications efforts. He has been an independent marketing and communications consultant since leaving Magellan Systems where he served as Vice President of Corporate Communications. Jim has extensive experience working in the telematics and vehicle safety space, consulting with both hardware and SaaS companies in positioning their products for the marketplace, including work with Liberty Mutual’s Onboard Advisor program. He earned a BS (Journalism) from Southern Illinois University. Jim claims to do his best work on the golf course.
VP of Sales
Mark Penman is responsible for data partnerships and sales. A master of relationship selling, Mark has over 20 years’ experience in business strategy and development, product definition and marketing, channel creation and sales management, working with companies of all sizes, from the Fortune 100 to startups, focusing on location/wireless/data technologies. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
AVP of Data Analytics
Chris Wilson leads the company’s development of proprietary driver behavior algorithms and connected-vehicle data analytics tools for determining safety relevant vehicle and infrastructure information. Chris has over 20 years’ experience with vehicle sensors networks and protocols -- developing algorithms for positioning and mapping, and architectures for processing data; creating new applications based on probe data; and developing business models to support the ecosystem, including insurance models for UBI premium. Chris earned a BA (Physics) from Princeton.
Mark Seilstad is an accomplished Software Engineer and Technical leader specializing in analysis and design with extensive experience in the full life cycle of the software design process including requirements definition, prototyping, proof of concept, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Mark brings knowledge and proficient designing products for regulated and non regulated industries. Mark has earned a BSEE (electrical engineering) from University of Washington.
Integration Manager and Team Lead
James McNamara is Software Developer with many years’ experience working on technology in and around the Microsoft Sphere of Influence. Previous to ATG he was a co-founder of CleverMiles, an Irish based Telematics Service Provider delivering a high-engagement, gamified driving experience to young drivers. James brings with him an ability to understand both the business requirements and technical challenges facing TSPs and implement solutions to accommodate their individual requirements. James serves as Team Lead to the Galway Development office.
Jeff Bafus brings diverse marketing experience and a wealth of creative talents to the ATG Risk Solutions team. An 18-year veteran of the video game industry, Jeff held a variety of sales and marketing management positions at Nintendo and Microsoft prior to working on the Liberty Mutual Onboard Advisor team. A graduate of Washington State University, Jeff earned a BA degree in Communications/Advertising.

MaryBee Engelman serves as the frontline contact with customers of the ATG Clearinghouse portal, assuring customers a smooth user experience and interface with the company’s web-based services. With more than eight years’ experience providing a seamless relationship between client and customer in various packaged goods industries, MaryBee has honed her skills in sales and online reward program management and assistance. She earned an Degree - Retail from Harcum Jr. College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
